Joe Lewis

Coach

Joe has coached for over 7 years, drawing from his 10 years of experience as a professional cyclist to help athletes achieve their best results.

In 2013, Joe moved from his home country of Australia to the US to ride professionally, traveling all over the world to race and competing in some of the largest cycling events in North America. The fulfillment and personal growth he found in the athletic process fueled his passion for deeply understanding human performance and guiding others through challenging athletic pursuits.

His journey toward coaching actually started with an all-time career low: an injury in his knee. Not knowing enough about his body to recognize the problem and recover correctly, he pushed through it, leading to a knee surgery and time off the bike. What he needed was an all-new training program that was agile enough to support his recovery while preparing him for a comeback. That’s when he started researching.

Through a lot of elbow grease and the guidance of many generous individuals, Joe built an entirely new training program and went on to achieve a career-best result the following season at the Tour of Colorado. This personal experience helped create a roadmap that he could trust to get results, one centered on training plans that work for each athlete’s unique situation and help them hone a mindset for success. 7 years later, he has helped athletes of all ages and experience levels—from juniors to Olympic athletes—reach their goals and their ultimate athletic potential.
