AJ Sobrilsky
Endurance Coach, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Competitor
AJ is a coach and endurance athlete with over 12 years of experience helping athletes achieve their goals. He has worked with a wide range of athletes, from weekend warriors to Olympians and winners of ultramarathons like Leadville, Western States, and UTMB.
AJ’s athletic journey began in the Midwest with traditional sports before transitioning to competitive cross country and track and field. He eventually moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, to pursue competitive road racing and ultimately expanded his passions to include trail running, bike racing, and rock climbing.
He has spent nearly every year of his life immersed in training, competing, and engaged in learning and teaching about the aspects of rehabilitation, training, and coaching. This journey has shaped AJ's passion for helping individuals balance the demands of life and sport to pursue the best versions of themselves.
As a coach, AJ brings a unique and valuable perspective forged from his experiences as an athlete, a coach, a crew member, and someone who understands the clinical side of performance. Whether it’s developing strategic training plans or adapting to the unexpected challenges athletes face, he strives to integrate insights from all these areas to help athletes thrive.
AJ’s mission is to share what he’s learned, support athletes in navigating their own journeys, and guide them toward success, however they define it.
