Coach
Based in Golden, Colorado, Colleen is an ultramarathon coach specializing in coaching the 100-mile distance. She also assists with Boundless’s Marketing and Communication efforts.
Colleen’s mission is to build an authentic coach-athlete relationship with communication and empathy at the forefront. Colleen is skilled with athlete goal setting, working with her athletes to carefully track progress in training, as well as mental well-being and motivation. She is especially interested in working with the “over 30” population but has coached athletes ages 24-54.
Colleen has coached beginners to experienced, Boston-qualifying athletes, determined to meet athletes exactly where they are.
As a dedicated ultra athlete herself, Colleen prefers the 100-mile distance for the mental challenge and has completed over 25 ultramarathons and six 100 milers in the last five years, including Leadville 100. She’s made it a mission to inspire other athletes over 30 to dream big at any age. Colleen also enjoys rock climbing all throughout Colorado with her partner, and enjoys painting, training her dog, and photography on the side.
