Brandon Dyksterhouse

From as early as he can remember, Brandon Dyksterhouse was charging down some of the world’s most iconic mountains—first on two wheels, then two skis. A born competitor, Brandon’s passion for sport began as a dual-sport athlete, excelling in both BMX and alpine ski racing. By the age of 16, he made the pivotal decision to focus full-time on ski racing, launching a career that would take him to international competition for over a decade.

Brandon raced on the world stage until the age of 30, when a string of knee, leg, and hip surgeries forced a transition away from skiing. Determined to rebuild his body and return to movement without pain, he rediscovered his love for the bike. What started as rehabilitation quickly turned into a full-blown endurance obsession, transforming Brandon from a 210-pound muscle-bound ski racer into a 165-pound high-altitude machine.

Today, Brandon is fully immersed in the endurance world, with a deep focus on all things Leadville and high-altitude performance. Whether grinding out miles on remote fire roads or training for some of the most grueling races in the country, Brandon brings the same relentless drive and athletic intelligence that defined his ski racing career.
